With fire and ice storms raging across America, we are spending billions on prevention, protection and insuring human safety.

The cost of living with nature is increasing as we try to find a way for more of us humans to co-exist on our beautiful planet.

When change is coming it can feel like resistance, but if we can embrace the change, perhaps by trying something new or different, good things can germinate, even in the most desolate of landscapes.

Nature itself demonstrates this to us every single day if we choose to notice it.

We now need to do more and solve our climate problems on multiple fronts, concurrently.

Here is one such example, we recently connected with Charlot Magayi, an Earthshot prize winner. She is spotlighted for her solution to reduce pollution and tackle the problem of vector born disease from insect bites at the same time.

Mukuru Clean Stoves have replaced over 400,000 cooking stoves in Kenya alone to significantly reduce household pollution - stoves to be fuelled by bricks that emit a non-toxic scent to keep mosquitoes away.

Amazing. Hopeful. Straightforward.

At Mozzie Cozzie we are also partner with local businesswomen. They are our community builders fuelling programmes of hope that employ marginalised women. .

In our case, we provide sewing work for female prison graduates, disadvantaged workers and up-skill the long-term unemployed. We pay the living wage from the outset for developing key skills.

Together, our teamwork results in clothing that is helping people avoid insects that bite. Our customers choose our non-toxic solution - Mozzie Cozzies are made of certified, sustainable and recycled materials. We produce valueable, multi-purpose, circular garments that are checked and verified to be good for people and this planet.

And like our spotlight company, we represent an ethical, local social enterprise choice.

Maybe you think that supporting us is worth a shot.

Let’s connect the dots and continue to build out a global ecosystem of responsible creators who work across continents, to produce lasting quality - up close and far away.

Mozzie Cozzie buttons are made of corozo - a material crafted by a heritage UK company, Courtney & Co. They import the nut of the Tagua Palm which grows in the equatorial rainforests of Ecuador and its presence is highly valued, preventing deforestation.
